  • Sabarmati Ashram

    Sabarmati Ashram is one of the famous places in the history of India. Mahatma Gandhi stayed in this  Ashram and therefore this place is famous for its historical importance during the independence struggle against the British rule. The place has a museum with many personal belongings of Mahatma Gandhi.

  • The Pols

    Ahmedabad is famous worldwide for its heritage and culture. Furthermore, it has gained a position in UNESCO’s tentative lists. Pols are very tightly packed set of houses. This place is famous for celebration of famous festivals like Navratri, Uttrayan and Rathyatra. Pols is a perfect place to feel the old Ahmedabad, the houses are artistically designed with wooden carvings.

  • Siddi Sayed Jali

    Siddi Sayed Mosque is non-arguably one of the most well-known places of Ahmedabad and its famous ‘tree of life ‘ work which symbolises the city and its grandeur. It is one of the best monuments for photography enthusiasts in Ahmedabad. The major highlight of this mosque is the twin jalis on the western wall that depicts intertwining of tree branches. This Tree of life is the inspiration for the IIM Ahmedabad logo and also has become a distinguished symbol of the city of Ahmedabad.

  •  Sabarmati Riverfront

    Shimmering canals and historic ambience make Ahmedabad one of the best waterfront destination in India. This is a 10.4 km long riverfront stretch consists of the walkways,  theme-based gardens,  amusements parks, flower garden etc. This place offers mesmerising views and adventurous water sports. It is one of the most visually stunning landscapes in Gujarat. 

  • Akshardham Temple

    Akshardham Temple is about 25kms from Ahmedabad near Gandhinagar. The temple showcases architecture and style at its best. It is a Lord Swaminarayan temple. The temple is intricately carved out of 6000 tonnes of pink sandstone. Here you can enjoy the light and music show called Sat Chit Anand, water show and audio-animatronic shows. 

  •  Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary

    About 60kms from Ahmedabad, Nal Sarovar is one of the largest bird sanctuaries in India. The wetlands of Nal Sarovar attract a wide variety of birds like- flamingos, ibis, cranes and pelicans etc. In winters many migratory birds gather here in large numbers from Siberia.  Nal Sarovar is the best place to catch sight of Sarus Crane, who perform an amazing synchronised dance. Nal Sarovar is predominantly a birdwatcher’s paradise. 

  •  Adalaj Step Well

    Step wells are quite prominent in Gujarat as they were the only source of water for drinking and bathing in the arid regions. The Adalaj step well is intricately carved and is five stories deep. These well were also venues for colourful festivals and sacred rituals. Thus these are fascinatingly decorated with floral and geometric motifs. This is a magnificent Stepwells which attracts a large number of tourists.
