  • Srinagar

The state capital is located on the banks of river Jhelum. It is well known for the famous Dal Lake where one can take shikara rides or stay on a houseboat. You can get handcraft items like woolen shawls which are hand-woven, carpets or rugs. One can buy dry fruits or saffron from Srinagar.

  • Pahalgam

It is not far from Srinagar, and it is one of the most beautiful hill stations. It is famous for the wildlife including wild animals and exotic mountain birds. The coniferous forest range is surely a paradise for nature lovers.

  • Gulmarg

  • Sonmarg

  • Udhampur

The place is named after Raja Udham Singh. It is the second largest city in that region. The lush green surroundings, the series of eucalyptus trees and some oldest structures draw a beautiful canvas on the traveler’s mind.
