As per the recent announcements received from the officials, Disneyland Paris will be reopening its gates for visitors from June 17. As it is one of the major tourist attractions in Paris, this news comes as a ray of hope amid pandemic. Approximately, 17000 people work in Disneyland Paris and it was closed from March 13 till July 15 last year after the world was suffering from the deadly COVID-19.
“We are pleased to announce that Disneyland Paris will reopen on June 17,” the officials said in a politician statement. The park earlier hoped to start out welcoming visitors in February. It but released a date of April 2 as its new target but it also got cancelled due to a spike in COVID cases.
Last month, Disneyland Paris conducted vaccination procedure on it site as there was an increase in the COVIS-19 cases in France.
But now the park is ready to reopen. On Monday, the amusement park said that guests quite six years old will still be required to wear face masks. Admission to the park would be limited, and other people will need to book their tickets beforehand as reservations are mandatory.
However, some attractions in Disneyland Paris might be shut or modified as per COVID rules. A Disneyland source said that management is expecting a return to pre-pandemic levels of activity only in 2022.
